PURPOSE OF THE COURSE

MRI, which stands for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is a crucial medical imaging technique utilized to produce detailed images of the internal structures of the human body. By employing powerful magnetic fields and radio waves, MRI scans provide valuable diagnostic information for a wide range of conditions. These include musculoskeletal issues and injuries, brain disorders, bone abnormalities, soft tissue conditions, ailments of the ear, nose, and throat (ENT), as well as vascular conditions. Career Growth & Prospects

The role involves conducting diagnostic MRI/MRA scans and breast imaging, including biopsies, adhering to the standards set by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Responsibilities also include initiating IVs, administering IV contrast manually or via power injector, and overseeing patient scheduling, confirmation, and screening. This multifaceted position requires precision in imaging procedures, proficiency in patient care, and adherence to safety protocols, ensuring accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care throughout the imaging process.
